The C**t New Line models, one of C**t's earliest solid frame cartridge firing revolvers, saw prolific production from approximately 1873-1877, with many sold from inventory into the 1880's. These arms, totaling over 100,000 produced during their relatively short run of production, resulted in a large number of factory engraved arms.

This pair of the .22 caliber version (also offered in .30, .32, .38, and .41) are fine examples of these decorated pieces. Both are wearing factory ivory stocks, while they compliment each other with the remains of their original contrasting nickel & silver plated finishes. The nickel revolver features a very standard engraving pattern while the silver plated revolver features more coverage and a more intricate pattern of intertwined scroll.

There's just something about fire blue.

This very high condition example of a C**t Pocket Hammerless Pistol in .380 knows how to show off to the camera. A true, original finish 112 year old survivor.

Often thought of as some of the inspiration to the C**t Python, the King Gun Sight Company in San Francisco was well known in the 1920's through the late 1940's as performing high quality target shooting enhancements to a variety of C**t pistols & revolvers (among other makers as well). This post-WWII C**t Officer's Model features many of the finest King enhancements, including a wide spur hammer, a very light trigger pull, and King's signature full ventilated rib with mirrored front sight. These customizations often exceeded the price of the gun itself, and are an absolute pleasure to shoot.

With a relatively limited production run (estimated to be approximately 4,000), the C**t New House revolver is not commonly encountered. However, C**t factory engraved specimens such as this are extremely rare, and this one exhibits a strong percentage of its remaining nickel finish with fire blue accents. To top it off, a set of mother of pearl stocks sets this small frame antique C**t apart.

However, my favorite piece of information about this C**t is that it the engraving cost 50 cents, per the C**t Archive Letter! Imagine what a dollar could have gotten you... Enjoy!

From approximately 1949 through 1953, C**t utilized a "dual tone" finish on it's revolvers. Whether blue or nickel, these revolvers featured polished frames & barrels and matte cylinder flutes, frontstraps, backstraps, triggerguards, and topstraps, creating a unique and stunning contrast. Several examples of these, including the scarcely encountered nickel Marshal and an unusual & beautiful factory original pearl stocked Police Positive Special in .32 New Police, are available through our website. A new home has been found for this Single Action Army!

One of 115 (separated into two shipments in 1908) marked "E. de. Mex." (for Ejercito de Mexico) on the left side of the barrel. All of these revolvers were blued, chambered in .38 WCF with 4 3/4" barrels. This example retains some blue in protected areas, is mechanically excellent, and is an overall well preserved example of a Mexican Revolution era Single Action!

The cutaway has a long history with C**t & were typically used as examples for sales & marketing demonstrations to show the internal mechanics of the firearm. These two revolvers, a Police Positive and a scarce two inch barrel Police Positive Special (manufactured about 7 years before the introduction of the Detective Special), are part of the C**t Archives Collection and are two fantastic, original examples of these cutaways. Additionally, please enjoy the video of the "Pre-Detective Special" in slow motion action!

One of the first 500 Model of 1911 pistols ever produced. Assembled on February 6, 1912, and shipped to Springfield Armory nine days later, this pistol is mostly original (with a few exceptions) with strong nitre blue on its appropriate small parts and much of the remaining high polish blue finish. Unfortunately, at some point in its life the "United States Property" and "Model of 1911 US Army" were removed. Even with these imperfections, serial number 417 remains a beautiful & near original example of C**t's earliest production of the Model of 1911.
