I’m so excited to introduce one of our attending authors on August 20th for our Book Swap & Tote Bag Workshop 5-8pm at Wallingford Marketplace at Words on Wood
⭐️Kaye Kennedy -

A total badass, Kaye is a former firefighter turned romance author who brings real-life experiences to every page. Her stories might just break your heart… but don’t worry, she’ll put it back together again. And yes… they’ll definitely turn up the heat where your panties might fall off 👀 🌶️

Whether you’re into firefighter daddies, detective daddies, Army Ranger daddies, or holiday romances, Kaye has something for you! She has 18 published books across 4 interconnected series over the last 6 years! Her first book her debut, Burning for More, was first released on August 5, 2020!

As if that wasn’t impressive enough, her rescue pup turned service dog even became a co-star in one of her books! When she’s not writing, Kaye shares her time between Massachusetts and Florida, enjoying the sunshine, breweries, and the perfect beach read.

If you didn’t think she was bad ass by now, Kaye is also a survivor of sexual assault and domestic violence and continues to navigate autoimmune disorders and fibromyalgia. She thoughtfully weaves pieces of those experiences into her stories, creating characters and journeys that feel authentic, resilient, and deeply emotional. Oh… and she’s also a psychic medium! 🔮

I am SO excited to have her joining us!

Hi Friends! Unfortunately, Mother Nature had other plans, and due to the rain and thunderstorms, Dee’s Blind Dates won’t be able to make it to the Ledyard market this week. 🌧️📚
I know so many of you were excited to stop by, browse some blind dates, and find your next read, and I’m so bummed I won’t get to see your smiling faces!
(Trust me… books + rain = one very sad book lover 😂)

Giving back to our community is something that means so much to me. 💙⛳ 📚

I was honored to donate a Dee’s Blind Dates gift basket to the Ryan T. Lee Memorial Foundation for the raffle at their 16th Annual Ryan T. Lee Golf Classic & Foundation Dinner at the Timberlin Golf Course & Aqua Turf on Friday, August 7th.

The Ryan T. Lee Memorial Foundation’s mission is one that truly inspires. Their belief that “Together We Make a Difference” reminds us that even the smallest acts of kindness can have a lasting impact. They encourage all of us to do better, be better, and give a “Ry of Hope” to those who may need a helping hand, a reason to smile, or a little extra love. 💙

I’m incredibly grateful to play a small part in supporting an organization that continues to uplift our community through scholarships, charitable giving, and acts of compassion.
