Hello Friends! It’s been awhile since I have posted. But I am still here. 😬

These past 6 months have been extremely challenging for our family. Most recently being, 2 of my daughters moved with their families across the U.S. to South Carolina.

I wanted to spend as much time with them as possible before the big move as well as allow myself some time to adjust to them all being gone.

It has been hard and I miss them so so much but I am now ready to get myself busy in my workroom. 🎉

I have been working on a new line of aprons for some time. Those will be launching soon. But for now I have all my Pinafore Aprons listed on my website and I am ready to get back to it!

On October 10th of this year it will have been 20 years since my dearest friend died by su***de. To say these last 20 years have been heart breaking would not even begin to explain the pain of losing such a beautiful light in this life. I still think about her daily and occasionally I get very special visits in my dreams, which reminds me that we will always be connected. I can't wait to see her again one day.

I have been affected by su***de several times since and if you have also you can understand the helplessness that comes along with it. There is not a lot of ways that I feel can make a difference, But this is definitely one that I know is helping in so many ways and directly with my community.

On October 2nd 2021 I'm participating in the Out of the Darkness Whatcom County Walk to fight su***de and support AFSP's bold goal to reduce the su***de rate 20% by 2025.

Hello Everyone!! I am back 😃.

I took a little break to celebrate my 50th and spend time with family. I was lucky enough to have all 4 of my kids and all 7 of my grand babies in the same room for the first time in over a year. And it felt AMAZING.

My daughter over .sugar made these amazingly gorgeous cookies for my celebration and although they tasted amazing, they were so hard to eat. I just wanted to frame them. But I did... I ate them... All of them. 😬

This week I am back in my sewing room and catching up on all the orders that I am forever grateful for.

It’s water the plants day 🪴
I’ve never been a plant person until a couple years ago and it isn’t a natural thing for me. I tend to loose more then I keep. My biggest problem is sunlight. I live in the woods and the trees shade most of our home.
It takes a little more time and nurturing but I think with the help of .sugar and I have some pretty good skills now.
My next plant on my wishlist is a Monstera Plant. 🤞

Hello! I haven’t done an introductory post in awhile and I have a lot of new friends here so I thought I would share 5 fun facts about me!
#1. My name is Buffie. Yep, it’s my given name and Nope, I have never slayed a vampire 😬.
#2. I have 4 kids and 7 grandchildren and I am not even 50 yrs old
#3. My first two children were born on the same day 2 years apart
#4. I have a wild sense of humor. I think I am way funnier then anyone around me does.
#5. I lose my reading glasses 500 times a day and they are almost always on top of my head 🤓.
