💔 If I’m being honest, I was heartbroken to read the New York Times article about our beloved Bastrop after what felt like a warm and wholesome interview.

The piece is free to read (though you’ll need to create a free account). You can find the link in our latest newsletter — just tap the link in our bio (insta) or in the comments(fb).

Once you’ve read it, we’d love for you to subscribe to our newsletter. Over the coming weeks, we’ll be sharing our own local perspective on historic downtown Bastrop — highlighting fantastic community events, talented artists, beloved restaurants, unique shops, and all the treasures to be Found in the Lost Pines.

We can’t wait to show you why we love this place so much. ❤️

🎉 Warm congratulations to Sherri, who just claimed “Small Great Wave” #45/50 by John Maisano!

She’s had her eye on this beautiful piece for a while, so we’re absolutely thrilled she was able to bring it home before they’re gone.

She may now have the only crashing wave in all of Lubbock, Texas! 🌊👏

Come support our girl, Gladys!

🍋💜 Fresh-squeezed happiness is back in downtown Bastrop!
Every Thursday from 10 AM – 2 PM, Gladys Howard brings her famous Wildflower Lemonade stand right in front of Found Fine Art. Bright, tangy, and made with love — this is lemonade the way it’s supposed to taste!
While she’s not big on interviews, Gladys is absolutely big on lemonade (and making your day better with every sip).
Swing by, grab a cup (or two), and soak up that small-town summer vibe. You don’t want to miss it!

🌡️ Hot (Literally) Tip for Today’s Heat Advisory:
Staying indoors is one of the best ways to beat the sweltering Texas heat — but why settle for your living room or office when you could be in a gorgeous, perfectly regulated art paradise?

At Found Fine Art, the temperature is cool, the vibes are refreshing, and the art is actually worth sweating for (just not literally).

Come escape the outside inferno, and immerse yourself in beauty.

It’s basically AC + culture = winning at Texas summer.
