Keene’s Depot first opened its doors in 1946. Over the next 70+ years, Keene’s Depot served its local community as a grocery store, ice house, and a sporting goods store. Beginning a new era in 2001, we shifted our focus to find a niche in our region. There was a strong need for a dedicated firearm and shooting sports store in our part of Kentucky. So, we evolved from a local depot store to KYGUNC
O, a sporting goods store where you can fill all your shooting sport needs. Continuing in our Company’s evolution in 2007 after being prompted by customers, we started branching out into the e-commerce side of the business. As a company who always answers our customers call and who is in an industry to be influenced by the political climates, we continued to grow. In 2017 we ventured into the powersports industry by purchasing a Honda Powersports Dealership. KYGUNCO continues growing and evolving to become a one stop shooting sports shop by spreading out into the Archery Industry in 2018. In 2022, we proudly opened a new location in Louisville, marking another milestone in our growth journey. This expansion allows us to better serve our customers in the area with our signature dedication to top-quality customer service, an extensive range of products, and unbeatable prices.
