I love a good love letter. My André script, a fun mix of vintage capital letters and old handwriting, is the most ooh-ed and ahh-ed over in client meetings for custom invitations. A more modern version of this script is what people usually choose, though!

The amazing , reached out to me asking for a few super personal touches for this microwedding. We ended up with a custom painted frame, and a poem in the shape of the DC War Memorial, a painted champagne bottle and handmade vow books.

I had to spray the backs of the handmade paper tags with adhesive in our stairwell, then hold each one in place for 5 minutes while it dried, one bottle per hand. The makings of a late-night pre-wedding breakdown! So worth it 🥂💫

I have A LOT of opinions about weddings in the time of covid. Some that have been the same since this all started, some that have evolved with time. All of my clients this year have handled their decisions differently, to find happiness amidst an otherwise difficult year, and I want to start sharing how they've done so as well as share how they inspired us to elope.

I love the contrast between loopy calligraphy + a simple serif font. It's that classic combination of the traditional + modern that makes for a timeless piece of stationery. Add in a smidge of color with Money painting as the envelope liner for a little drama, and 🥂💫
