That coat closet door was headed for the dump.

Instead, it got a full moon-shaped doorstop for the hole that inspired a painting.

Now, I’m not saying that medium-rare chocolate chip cookies are making me a better artist today, but:

This was that beach yesterday. ➡️Then cookies. ➡️Today.

Good Morning! Current project: My coat closet 🎨

Aside from checking TwitterX to see what I’m supposed to be mad about, and Pinterest because I love it, taking a break from socials has turned out to be pretty fantastic, actually. Perspective shifting.

To those who’ve hung out w me on IG/FB from the beginning: Thank you! I appreciate your support!

In the 6 yrs since this adventure began, I’ve done social media marketing, online sales, website, shipping, etc. That’s how I know that I’m not interested that.

However, painting, crafting and creating with my neighbors and guests? Front porch visits? Helping customers put together the perfect gift from my gift shop? YES!!!

I’ll still be updating socials now and then, by my focus will continue to shift from online to IRL interactions as I continue to adjust to both life and social media changes.

I don’t know if I’ve ever had a digital media, news, social media break. I wanna see what happens. Not sure how long. Maybe 2 wks…maybe forever. And, you guys know where the shop is, and what I’m about.
