Happy Mother's Day to all! This recipe is for those of you who remember my sweet & amazing mother, Betty. She was my first employee and worked in the store with me for years. These were the pecan bar treats she made for me every year for our OPEN HOUSE. Feel free to share, I think she would feel honored. The recipe is easy and the pecan bars are incredibly good! Use only Navidad Farms pecans. Thanks Mom, I sure miss you!

We will be out at Fitzhugh Brewing THIS SATURDAY with a booth and a lot of animals! (11:00-4:00) It is a fundraiser for Hill Country Rescue and Recovery. Bring the kiddos, have a cold one, shop for mom, and support a GREAT cause!

Come out May 9 and support Hill Country Rescue and Recovery, an amazing organization dedicated to reuniting lost pets with their families. Enjoy a family-friendly day with face paint, balloon artists, artisan shops, adoptable dogs from PAWS, and opportunities to donate to this great cause.

FALL NEWS/UPDATE: It is time to switch gears! I have had a lot of fun working on my new wildflower resin art and designing new cards & gift items, but FRESH PECAN harvest will start this month. This is my favorite time of year! We hope to have fresh, NEW CROP PAWNEE pecans by the 1st week of October. We thank those who have already put in their pecan pickup pre-order. Now is the time to order if you have not. Order pecans for pickup: www.navidadfarmspickup.com Pick up places/events will be listed here on a coming post.

Pecans will only be available for local/festival PICKUP or SHIPPING. Our SHIPPING SITE is a different site, and is being updated and will be published in a few weeks. You CAN call in your order as well.

WIMBERLEY MARKET DAYS: We are back! Our biggest news is that we will again be out at Wimberley Market Days starting this SAT, Sept. 6. WE ARE BOOTH # 307 (just 2 booths downs from where we were (closer to the pavillion). Fresh pecans will hopefully be ready in time to bring to OCTOBER MARKET DAYS (not this weekend.)

Wimberley Market Days is held the 1st Saturday of the month at Lion's Field in Wimberley, Texas (8:00-3:00) There are 300 + booths of all kinds of antiques & other fun things, live music, food, beer & wine. We are BOOTH # 307 and we know we will be there from Sept.-December.

PAINTED TREE: Yes, we are at Painted Tree (in Sunset Valley, right next to Michaels) and have a lot of our product already stocked. We are gearing up for a big season at Painted Tree and have expanded our booths. OUR BOOTHS: A-21, T-22, T-15 & T-19 (our card kiosk) STORE ADDRESS: 5400 Brodie Ln, (Suite 300) Austin, TX. This whole store is a very cool place to find many different kinds of gifts.
