Monarda 'Peter's Purple' (Monarda fistula x M. barlettii) commonly known as beebalm or bergamot, is a clump-forming herbaceous perennial with aromatic, lance-shaped leaves. It has terminal whorls of two-lipped lavender purple flowers with purple calyces that are 2 1/2 inches long. 'Peter's Purple' is not as hardy as other Monarda cultivars, but it is mildew resistant and thrives in heat and humidity. It grows 3 to 5 feet tall and 2 to 3 feet wide.

Our Coral Honeysuckles (Lonicera sempervirens) and Yellow Honeysuckles (Lonicera flava) are in bloom!! These vines are an excellent choice as a habitat for birds and butterflies, and will provide a bit of privacy.

It is cold outside and some succulents actually do love it. Most prefer an ideal night temperature between 35 and 40 degrees, and day temperature around 60. As long as it's a dry cold, and they're not saturated. This encourages them to put out new growth and blooms.

Knowing which season your succulent goes dormant is a key to knowing which succulents to pot together, especially when it comes to watering. Remember, it's better to under water a succulent than to over water.

Mexican Honeysuckle (Justicia spicigera) 1 gallons available!!

Native to Mexico and adapted to Central Texas, this lovely shrub can reach up to 3' high and 4' wide, with spicy scented orange tubular flowers, attracting hummingbirds.

The amazing thing about this plant, is that you can create a deep blue dye form the leaves.

Meet Kyle Espostoa from Ecuador. He can be somewhat of a prick at times, but that's just do to his anti-social behavior. Kyle isn't so keen on getting a lot of attention. He wasn't pleased about me posting pics and talking about him on here, but I threatened to drown him.

Mr. Espostoa loves spending time outdoors, hiking The Andes and basking in the full sun. He doesn't mind the winter, but if it's freezing wet then he'll be a little dramatic bitch about it and will never let you forget.

He's a low maintenance kinda guy and hardly takes showers or baths. In the summertime he typically bathes at least once or twice a week. In the winter, God forbid he steps foot in the bathtub. He'll just complain about getting too wet and cold.

So, is this the right companion for you? Someone who is low maintenance? Someone who won't rack up your water bill? Someone who obviously doesn't shave?
