You can have flowers and butterflies in your garden year-round with this design built into the side of an arch! It can also be sold as a wall hanging just like it is. The frame is made of birch, the flowers and petals of maple branches, and the butterflies are made of weeping willow. It's all held together with nails, lots of steel wire, and staples.

Thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone who admired my work, gave me great feedback, fueled some great ideas, gave me networking leads, and made my weekend a great success at my first craft show! I even sold a few pieces! Thank you for liking my page and spreading the word about my work! I want to say a special thank-you to my wife, Brittany, for doing a ton of behind the scenes work for me. ...because who isn't fascinated by hummingbirds? I used birch for the frame and willow branches for hummingbird and flower. I used steel wire and nails to hold it all together! This panel is 2.5'x3.5' and designed as a side for an arch, but the hummingbird can really be scaled to any (reasonable) size for most designs.

Because I have a big craft show coming up (Nov 29/30 at the Augusta Civic Center!) I am going to be making panels like this as an example of a design that could go into an arch like "Bev's Country Garden" with the horses. This piece is 3.5'x2.5', but can be scaled to any size if you like the dragonfly! It's framed in hardwood and uses two different kinds of willow for the design. It is durably held together with stainless steel wire, staples and nails, no glue!

Ahh!! This is really happening!! I just signed up for my first TWO craft fairs...one of them is one of the largest craft show of the season! I will be displaying my goods and taking custom orders at the Augusta Civic Center the weekend after Thanksgiving (29/30) and again at the Augusta Armory just before Christmas (Dec 19/20)!! Come out and support local artists and get your holiday shopping done!!

Inspiration for this piece didn't take long to find when I woke up this morning :) Made of hardwood, wire, nails, willow and staples, this piece is 19'' tall and 17" wide. We might as well embrace the snow - it isn't going anywhere for awhile!
