The Royal Crescent Limited Edition is the second annual release in The Conklin Pen Co., series of crescent filler limited edition fountain pens. The pen is a “throwback” which mimics the original pens made by Conklin more than 100 years ago (such as the 11678: Conklin 2 made in 1915).

In 1993 Omas produced this pen, one of their most well known limited edition pens, ever. The limited edition consisted of 4692 pens and this is pen 1370. T his was Omas’s very first use of the Wild celluloid in one of their pens.

Pelikan began producing the M1000 series in 1997. The striped material that makes up the distinctive barrels is composed from a cotton base using a formula developed especially for Pelikan. The layers are slowly built up over months before being sliced and shaped using a natural diamond.
