Norma Jean Pottery Studio

My name is Norma Fields and I live in Clarkston, Ga. a small community with a big heart east of the city of Atlanta. After interrupting my college art studies for a chance of a better life in the USA many years ago,where I became a wife and a mother of two and an electrical designer for more than 30 years ago,I finally came back to my art roots .

In 2005 I decided to take classes at a local pottery studio in Tucker ,Ga and I was hooked!!!.
I was always fascinated by clay and how you could mold and create beautiful functional pieces.
My love of nature and gardening plays a great role in my inspiration for the decoration of my pieces which is reflected by using different techniques such as sgraffito and painting.

My goal is to share my passion for clay and art with others and show nature's beauty that surrounds us.

All my pottery pieces are stoneware,dishwasher and microwave safe,though will last longer if hand-wash.
