This month, we honor the women who build, repair, innovate, and lead — often behind the scenes and without recognition.

At The Appliance Gals, we are proud to stand on the shoulders of women like our founder’s grandmother, Vergie Ingram, who built her own appliance business during a time when doors weren’t easily opened for women.

Today, we continue that legacy — creating opportunities, delivering excellence, and proving that women belong everywhere decisions are made and tools are used.

At The Appliance Gals, Black history isn’t just something we honor—it’s something we live. Our roots trace back to a legacy of resilience, entrepreneurship, and service passed down through generations.

From our founder’s grandmother opening an appliance business during the Great Migration to serving in Atlanta homes today, we are proud to continue building, fixing, and sustaining our communities—one appliance at a time.

Great review from Vandana... "My washer stopped working one morning, so I reached out to The Appliance Gals. They responded quickly and were extremely professional throughout the process. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because I ultimately chose to purchase a new washer—the cost of the replacement part was nearly the same as buying a new machine. They do charge a diagnostic fee, but it’s applied toward the cost of any repair, which I appreciated."
