Very unexpected - well, not the mission, the fact that I had to go. I was 2 months from retiring; but hell, it’s the army. Before I knew it, I was yelling at her

Pretties, I got a confession. After I caught Covid in late January. I became very fearful. I didn't want to be around anyone accept my close family. I only went back to work because I needed the money. I was in a dark place. Do you know what broke me free? Old school prayer!!! Yes, plus remembering the tips my therapist taught me. #1 I ask God to realign me with his will. #2 I had to face my fearful thoughts and rewire my behaviors. Now I'm like Jill Scott living my life like it's GOLDEN!

What's change?

Simple, my attitude towards myself. Joy comes from within and not from gaining material possessions. Joy comes appreciating the people who love you unconditionally. Joy comes from loving yourself unconditionally. Joy comes slowing down to smell the roses. Joy comes when you stop comparing yourself to others.

Pretties go ahead take your personal freedom put it into your daily stroll and let your joy unfold. Live your life like it is golden!

Pretties,

I'm learning this lesson right now. It's hard to let go of pain especially when you wear it as a protective shield. Emotional pain can easily steal joy from you. The refusal to properly grieve old and new trauma can leave you bitter angry and anxious truly taking a toll on your body. I know this all to well. You will wake up one day and years have passed you by. This pain literally stealing pieces of your life.

The great things is Restoration can happen but you have to willing to let go of your pain.

What painful experience do you need to release?

There was a time in my life that I had to remind myself constantly that God is the lover of my soul. Sometimes pur soul is so much anguish that words from our friends and family can't comfort us. It is only the word of God that brings peace.
