An 8 year old boy is now using Burton Vision to improve his English which is about a 4 year old level. His parents are using BV to improve their signing. I'm looking forward to great results in the next few months.

A contributor caught a rather embarassing mistake in one our materials! The ASL word for fat (the substance) and obese were shown with the same picture card. Of course, this will be fixed by evening.

It’s a deceptively simple looking gizmo, and it’s based on experiments we’ve done building an as-yet-unannounced game and our experience with trying to teach a “phonetic” written language to Deaf students. I’ll walk through it then explain why it’s special.
