Fascinated with animals from an early age, Neal spent the majority of his childhood outside exploring all that nature had to offer. He and his wife are the proud parents of two young girls who are the source of Neal’s inspiration. Neal continues to spend the majority of his free time exploring the outdoors, seeking out adventures, and sharing his passions with his family. Neal uses his writings as

an opportunity to introduce readers to new and unique animals, in hopes that these characters and their adventures will help teach important fundamental life lessons to the younger generations. The Little Newt Under The Root is Neal’s first children’s book

Well the secret is out, and the rumors are true. I’m excited to announce that I’m officially releasing my second children’s book, Bears Don’t Fish…or do they? It’s been a dream of mine to figure out creative ways to give back and that’s why I’m excited to be working with to support an important cause. If you’re in the area be sure to stop by their bakery to get your copy of (and of course an amazing bánh mì, bubble tea, and/or dessert) and I’ll donate a portion of the book sales to , an organization dedicated to putting an end to human trafficking. This will be the first of hopefully several partnerships to help support impactful causes.
