A Testimony from Ryotte Events LLC
Welp… decoration was never really an option for me. Honestly, I always felt like it was a lot of work, especially because sometimes people do not truly appreciate the hard work, dedication, and sleepless nights that come with creating beautiful events.
Everything changed when Manouchka Lominy (Mrs. Lominy) chose me to decorate her event. Boy, was I nervous. I spent the entire week worrying, overthinking, and having sleepless nights wondering if I could really pull it off.
But after everything was done, I stood back, looked at the outcome, and I was proud of myself. I truly loved how everything turned out. That moment reminded me that sometimes we doubt ourselves more than we should.
I want to give a huge shoutout to for helping me, pushing me, supporting me, and believing in me. She is not one of those typical Haitians who only see themselves in the business. Instead of competing, she uplifted and encouraged me, and I will forever appreciate her for that.
After decorating Mrs. Lominy’s event, I am now on my 5th decoration event. One opportunity opened the door to something I never thought I could do.
I also want to thank my children for being my support system, for always being there for me, encouraging me, and motivating me when I felt unsure of myself.
I am not a pro yet, but practice makes perfect, right? Every event is a learning experience, and every setup makes me stronger, more creative, and more confident.
