Parker care 101. Keep your powder dry and your neck clean
After playing, use a microfiber cloth to clean the strings and fret board. Not only does this help get rid of any grease or anything else your fingers leave behind, it keeps your guitar in good shape and helps your strings last longer. This along with other preventative maintenance will ensure your guitar lasts as long as you do.
