Most days I have such mixed feelings about AI but I really do appreciate being able to easily show how these shadowboxes or my shells look on different backgrounds or different backdrops. But is it “cheating?” What do you think? As a busy mom it’s easy to justify it as a huge time savings but I’d rather do it the old fashioned way. These shadow boxes or wall art feature painted Nantucket scallops paired with some huge starfish a kind neighbor gifted me when she was moving and a considerably sized Assateague oyster! 🦪 The box with the gold starfish has glass on top but the other two are mixed media/layered elements without glass protective covers.

Getting a big order of soaps and ornaments ready to ship to my favorite island….wish I could deliver in person this week! Summer is coming! All of these scallop shells were hand picked by my kiddos and I at the Creeks, Pocomo, or Brant Point last summer!

🦀Limited edition - I made these last summer on Nantucket, lugged them home, and promptly forgot about them! Imported HEAVY harbor rocks from Quaise Harbor on Nantucket. Perfect doorstops, felt bottoms to protect your floors, and decoupaged with big Maryland flag crabs. The smaller one would be a paperweight or desk/coffee table decor. $20 for the big and $10 for the smaller. 🦀

It’s almost that time of year again (summer!!!) although our trip this year may look quite a bit different for me with a broken foot and maneuvering around with a boot and scooter. 😩 Trying not to worry too much, and keeping the faith that I will (hopefully) be better in time for our trip to my happy place. Still makes me smile to create these decoupage clams with some bestselling Nantucket designs.
