The flames whisper again…
A 28" x 11" acacia board has found its way to my table, and the moment I touched it, the wood answered back. Something ancient. Something from the deep. Something with more arms than any honest creature should have.

And so the burn begins.

🔥🐉 FireGirl Boutique Sneak Peek! 🐉🔥

Snow, ice, and sub‑freezing temps outside… but in here, the woodburning pen is warm and the creativity is flowing. Today’s studio vibe has been perfect for diving back into a new piece — slow, steady, and full of fire.

My wrists still get tired, but they’re no longer going numb, so the breaks are shorter and the joy is bigger. Those carpal tunnel steroid injections were a game‑changer, and I’m so grateful to be back at it.

I’ve absolutely fallen in love with burning on watercolor paper — the texture, the control, the way it takes heat — it’s become my new favorite medium.

And now… a little sneak peek 👀
Another dragon has arrived, fiercely guarding his hoard of books and a steaming beverage. ☕️ Personally, I think he’s a hot‑chocolate‑with‑extra‑marshmallows kind of guy, but hey… dragons can drink whatever they want. 😂
