C a r b i n e ( P C C ) C o u r s e
The one-day Defensive Pistol Caliber Carbine (PCC) course builds on your existing skills and
strengthens the fundamentals needed to use the PCC as a defensive tool. This class is
designed for shooters ready to improve their competence—whether for home defense, personal
protection, or professional use. Through practical instruction and dynamic range work, students
will gain the ability to run a PCC with speed, accuracy, and control under pressure.
What You’ll Learn
• Safe and efficient PCC handling under stress
• Setup, configuration, and maintenance for defensive use
• Rapid target engagement from close to intermediate distances
• Use of cover and positional shooting
• Reloads, malfunction clearance, and weapon manipulation
• Threat identification and decision-making under pressure
• Timed drills to measure and track performance
• Integration with a sidearm (pistol transitions)
Who Should Attend
• Armed citizens with prior PCC or rifle training
• Law enforcement officers (patrol, SROs, plainclothes, or specialty units)
• Security professionals seeking compact and controllable defensive options
• Civilians who already have a foundation with fi****ms and want to progress into defensive use
of the PCC
Required Gear
• Reliable PCC in good working condition with sights/optic
• Minimum 3 magazines with pouches
• Quality sling
• Eye and ear protection (electronic preferred)
• 500 rounds of PCC ammunition
• Pistol with quality holster (must fully cover trigger guard, remain open when drawn — no
Blackhawk SERPA or similar holsters) and minimum of 2 magazines with pouches
• 200 rounds of pistol ammunition
• Weather-appropriate clothing (no open-toe shoes or tank tops)
• Optional: duty gear (chest rig, belt setup, or concealed carry configuration)
