Across the West Bank, the 2025 olive harvest is underway — but it’s a difficult one. Unusual weather has affected the zaytoun, and many trees have been damaged due to the occupation. What this means for our 2026 season is still uncertain. Even if we must skip a year… inshallah, we will be back. Resilience is in our roots. 🌿✨

This year’s olive harvest in the West Bank — especially around Nablus and our family’s groves in Al-Naqura — has been one of the weakest in over 15 years. Many trees didn’t produce fruit due to extreme heat, dry weather, and access challenges caused by ongoing violence and restrictions.

At Yalla Falastin, this means we’re uncertain about how much olive oil we’ll have available for 2026 sales. We remain committed to supporting our farmers and protecting this sacred tradition — one harvest at a time.

Each autumn in Palestine, the olive groves come alive — the sound of shaking branches, the scent of fresh oil, and the hands of families working side by side. 🍃

But for many farmers, each season begins with a quiet question: Will our trees still be here to harvest? Drought, access to water, or the painful reality that some trees are lost to conflict and destruction. The loss of ancient trees weigh on hearts across our homeland.
