It's that time of year again. I start preaching about bunnies and chicks as Easter presents. You know I do this every year. Stay with me...

Please, if you do not have experience with real bunnies, give your kids a chocolate one. If you cannot handle grown chickens, please purchase marshmallow peeps instead. No sugar? How about a locally hand made toy? And if you do decide that your child needs an Easter gift and you give them a chick or a bunny, a living breathing creature with a beautiful beating heart. Do not release that "gift" after Easter. Just don't. Be responsible. Be a better human.

His head tilts on a screw, made of real yew wood and guinea feathers. This creation was inspired by the random grain patterns and the cuts of these particular pieces of yew wood hewn from my childhood home. We may duplicate but this particular piece can never be duplicated. The wood grain was grown, and we may never see another piece even remotely the same..
