Goodmorning! Thank you to every single one of you who commented, and reached out to me with your encouraging words and advice! I have taken every single word into consideration and thought. I appreciate you all more than you know! Giving up is not who I am nor has it ever been in my vocabulary. I will be stepping out of my comfort zone and attempting to do more vendor shows and network with more businesses that would be interested in shelving my products. If I want things to change I have to start with myself. I would love to continue to hear your ideas and what has worked and what hasn't worked for you guys. I try to keep my prices reasonable.
I have had some back lash yesterday for charging $10 a rose but since I've started making these I've found better quality roses than I was using before and the process that it takes to complete these roses for you all takes days not minutes. You're not only getting a rose your getting additional foliage and the wrapping all of this stuff adds up and at the end of the day I'm really only making roughly $2 a rose! And I'm paying 20% commission on items in the bakery so I'm making even less on them items. I don't jack the prices up on items in the bakery because I'm trying to keep it all affordable for my customers. Single CUSTOM roses are $10 each, bouquets of 3 are $55, bouquets of 6 are $75 and 12 is $135. My photos do these flowers no justice you can ask anyone who has purchased these how beautiful they are in person. I do offer shipping at the customers cost OR I am more than happy to meet with you in East Aurora or west seneca. I also offer bulk discounts. Just ask.
