Jeep Gladiator: Up to $25,000 off with drive-away pricing

Jeep has introduced new nationwide drive-away pricing for its slow-selling Gladiator ute that, depending on the version, lops up to $25,000 off the asking price.

The entry-level Jeep Gladiator Night Eagle is now priced at $64,000 drive-away, which is $14,250 cheaper than the previous list price and around $20,000 more affordable drive-away, depending on the state.

The flagship Gladiator Rubicon on the other hand is now priced at $70,000 drive-away, which is $17,250 cheaper than the previous list price. Depending on the state, it’s now up to $25,000 more affordable drive-away.

Here's How Much Porsche's New Base Macan EV Costs

The base Macan is a more affordable option than its all-wheel drive siblings, although it remains much more expensive than the outgoing gas-powered Macan. A rear-wheel drive Macan starts at $75,300 before a $1995 delivery fee, a substantial step up from the $62,900 MSRP attached to the base model of the first-generation car still in the long process of being phased out. The base EV is also more expensive than the $74,500 MSRP attached to the faster gas-powered Macan S, although it comes in well below the range-topping $89,000 Macan GTS.

That $75,300 gets a buyer 335 hp from a single-motor setup powering only the rear wheels, although power peaks at 355 hp when a launch control system is engaged. The car reaches 60 in 5.4 seconds and tops out at 136 mph, respectively 0.6 seconds faster and 8 mph slower than official Porsche numbers for the base gas-powered Macan. A 100-kWh battery, an efficiency-boosting 480-amp pulse inverter, and a 243-lb weight saving from the reduced drive wheel count should make the base car a standout in total range, but Porsche has not yet announced an estimated driving range for the car.

Even the most enthusiastic of us about custom cars have to admit that there are simply too many such projects out there to know them all. That's why our passion for modified vehicles is most of the time fed by the most high profile of these builds, the ones that, for some reason or another, manage to reach fame status. And in the world of custom cars one can rarely get as famous these days as what comes out the doors of a garage called Kindig-it Design.

The ride follows the same design cues of its line, with the Corvette carbon fiber body massaged to look a lot smoother than the original and adorned by a rounded, one-piece windscreen. The car touches the ground through a set of five-spoke polished wheels adorned by knock-off-like hubs.

The hood of the car hides a Lingenfelter LS V8 engine featuring a polished stack intake. This model is equipped with an automatic transmission – six-speed manual versions have also been made, but only a couple of them. The engine breathes out through a dual exhaust system and is kept in check by disc brakes on all four wheels.

The car's body was painted a deep shade of red to match the saddle leather interior. Bucket seats have been installed in there, to go with a two-spoke flat-bottom steering wheel and black dial gauges.

The 2024 Jeep Wrangler Is The Most Reliable Jeep SUV

Jeep's most reliable SUV this year is the 2024 Jeep Wrangler, which boasts a high reliability score from both JD Power and Repair Pal. According to Repair Pal, Jeep, as an automaker, has an above-average reliability rating of 3.5 out of 5 stars. The Jeep Wrangler has also been rated by Repair Pal with an impressive reliability score of 3.5 out of 5, though that does put it 25th out of 26 for compact SUVs, with the 2024 Subaru Crosstrek taking first place.

JD Power Quality & Reliability Score: 84

Likewise, JD Power has given the 2024 Jeep Wrangler an above-average, or 'Great', score for quality and reliability of 84 out of 100. Another one of Jeep's highest-reliability rated SUVs is the Jeep Renegade with a very impressive score of 81. Unfortunately, they are no longer sold because of poor sales figures and were discontinued last year.

Is BMW Finally Giving Us a Supercar?

Rumors have long circulated about BMW’s supercar ambitions. Over the past decade and a half, at least a dozen supercar designs were conceived, yet none saw the light of day due to unfavorable business cases. Among these was the BMW i16, a near-reality project that was ultimately shelved by the cautious board. However, BMW’s focus has shifted toward the hypercar market, moving away from the plug-in hybrid ethos of the i16. Whispers now suggest a new supercar design has been crafted and is awaiting approval. Unfortunately, insider sources indicate that this supercar has yet to receive the green light for production.

Enter the secretive Neue Klasse prototype, recently spotted in public. Though heavily camouflaged, several striking features are discernible. The prototype boasts a two-door classic layout, a distinctive shark nose, short overhangs, and a sloping roofline culminating in a tailgate which sits above the beltline. The front end clearly adheres to the Neue Klasse design language, characterized by a “phygital” aesthetic and minimalist elements. Notably, the traditional kidney grille has been replaced by two vertical lights, yet maintaining the iconic dual-headlamp look through this new duality.

2024 Porsche 718 Cayman: What's New

The 718 Cayman Style Edition that went on sale in Europe last year is available to U.S. consumers for 2024. It's offered only on entry-level models with the 2.0-liter powertrain and delivers a handful of interior and exterior cosmetic upgrades, as well as one additional convenience feature.

Tailpipe accents and a black or white contrast stripe package set off the Style Edition's exterior, complemented by corresponding-color 20-inch wheels (so white stripe, white 20s, and black stripe, black 20s). Inside, the 2024 Cayman Style Edition adds black leather upholstery with chalk-colored stitching, a heated steering wheel, illuminated stainless steel door kick plates, and Porsche crests embossed on the seat headrests.

Electrifying elegance of the Audi Q6 e-tron

What to expect from 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee

US automaker Jeep has begun international testing for the facelifted version of its fifth-generation Grand Cherokee SUV.

The model, initially launched in India back in 2022, is locally assembled to ensure affordability.

Reworked front design

The 2025 Grand Cherokee will feature a significantly reworked front fascia, as revealed in the spy shots.

The changes include revised headlamps, a wider seven-slat grille, and adjusted front bumpers.

The Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and parking sensors will be positioned higher than before.

Additionally, the alloy wheels are set to receive a new design treatment.

Porsche unveils one-off 911 Turbo S with Chromaflair paint job

Porsche has revealed a one-off 911 Turbo S, showcasing the capabilities of its Sonderwunsch Factory Commissioning personalization program.

The model is inspired by four special Porsche 959s from the late 1980s.

Its standout feature is a hand-painted "Chromaflair" Urban Bamboo exterior, which comprises wafer-thin pigments in the topcoat that change color, depending on light and viewing angle.

What Is The Shelby Mustang Code Red, And Is It Even Street Legal?

If Shelby Mustangs are high-performance variants of regular Mustangs, then the Shelby Mustang Code Red is in its own category above the rest. Introduced in 2022, the Code Red, formally called the Shelby Mustang GT500 Code Red, is a turbocharged modification of the then current-generation GT500. Gone is the supercharger from the 5.2-liter V8 engine, and it's replaced with two turbochargers.

In fact, Nelson's Racing Engines fully re-engineered the limited edition car's motor, fitting it with a dual-feed fuel system so that it can use racing fuel when needed.
Naturally, these modifications mean the GT500 Code Red is packing some serious power under the hood. Using 93-octane fuel, it produces 1000 hp and 780 lb-ft of torque. Throw some E85 in the tank and you get 1300 hp with over 1000 lb-ft of torque. Unsurprisingly, this behemoth of a Mustang is incredibly exclusive, as Shelby only made 30 and priced each at $209,995.

2024 Porsche Cayenne Turbo E-Hybrid Coupe with GT Package

Porsche released the third generation of the Cayenne SUV at the beginning of 2023, but it waited more than six months before unleashing the sportiest version of it to that date, the Turbo E-Hybrid in the coupe-shaped bodywork and upgraded with the GT Package.

When the German automaker unveiled the third generation of the Cayenne, people wondered where was the mighty Turbo version. However, the car manufacturer remained silent until late August 2023, when it unveiled it. Still, it wasn't the Turbo S customers expected, but a better version named Turbo E-Hybrid. As a result, the new product was not just more potent than the Turbo S version from the second generation but also proved to boast a lower fuel consumption and a smaller footprint than its predecessor. Porsche replaced the Turbo S with the Turbo H-Hybrid, and it did that for both body shapes: the SUV and the SUV Coupe versions.
