Wrapped up the halltree with its cabinet doors & hardware ! It’ll give so much storage to a family that needs every bit of it!

Finished the day with finishing a beautiful mahogany door. Putting an oil finish on it brought out such a rich color and all of the figuring in the wood .

Onto the next! Picked up a ton of plywood , poplar & red oak for the next built in!

Finished these beautiful white oak Newell posts and railings yesterday !

Sanded them smooth , made sure there was no sharp edges , then applied walnut for the amazing finish! It made so much of the oak figuring pop out. Love it !

I love the reward for fine finishing work.

Sprayed these gorgeous white oak French doors with General Finishes 1K polyurethane.

This premium polyurethane will hold up to years of use. It has a much higher resistance to hand oils, chemicals , and overall damage. The clarity and sheen are just spectacular too!

Completed most of a trim out on this small house today! Next week we’ll be back when the final door and materials come!

Doors , casing , baseboard and some custom work here next week!

As always, we swept up, got all the nails up, and made sure we left it better than we found it!

3 coats , sanding between to make sure there’s no imperfections ! What a stunning finish. The white oak benchtop is just ❤️.

Sherman Williams Gallery in Jasper is the paint, and Rubio Monocoat walnut is on the white oak! It’ll get a ceramic coating next week to ensure the protection is long lasting with all of the abuse kids will give it .

So happy the client loves it as much as I do!

Today I celebrated my 30th birthday, and I wouldn’t want it any other way. I hope everyone enjoys Memorial Day weekend!

Day 2/3 completed!

Setup our spray booth to protect the rest of the home from the fumes and overspray.

Painting cabinets is an art , and it’s a lot more complicated and in-depth as people think. 2 coats of primer , and 2 coats of paint . Each coat needs to be sanded between , then vacuumed , then wiped down.

You can do it without it, but won’t have a flawless looking built in that will last for years . It would be horrible to spend thousands on a built in to have shoddy paint chip right away.

Tomorrow is the final day! Final caulking , and two coats of Sherman Williams gallery paint !

A lot of things happening lately !

Love getting back to doing some custom projects !

Pantry with live edge shelves , and a beautiful white oak mantle . The mantle I preserved the sawmill marks with black epoxy and it really popped all of that beautiful character !
