With the Fest season done, I want to thank all of our great customers for supporting me in my first year of owning Dragon Eggs. I’ve always wanted to own a business at Fest and was so excited when this came to fruition. It’s been a fun year and I’m proud to have made this a woman-owned and women-run Minnesota business!

We had people use geodes in a proposal, as prizes for a Ren Fest scavenger hunt, as gifts for others or to add to their own collections, and as a season ending award for running a project. We had first time buyers, long-time regulars, and everyone in between. We even sold the largest geode our booth has ever sold…a whopping 35 pounds!

All of this would mean nothing if it weren’t for our staff. These 3 women…Adrienne, Sanna, and Mikala (plus Irrissa, not pictured)…are the heart of the booth. I “inherited” them from Leo (the former owner) and I am the luckiest person to have them on my team. Knowledgeable, competent, kind, funny, and enthusiastic…they are the best “crack team” ever! 😻🥰😻🥰

I’m so grateful for this opportunity…my thanks to you all and we’ll see you next year!

🗣️ Hark and gather, good gentles all! Let it be known throughout the realm that Dragon Eggs hath unveiled a most wondrous treasure at yon MN Renaissance Festival this past fortnight!

⚔️ Behold! A mighty geode, weighing nigh upon thirty-eight pounds, was split asunder by our brave hands—and lo! What splendor lay within! This gem, large enough to seat a full-grown backside upon yonder wooden bench, revealed a cavernous heart filled with snowy white quartz, a touch of rare golden crystal, and even glimmers of blue and green fluorescence that shimmer like faerie fire under moonlight.

🎁 The noble Sir Robert, a loyal patron of our humble establishment, hath claimed this glittering prize. Though our first attempt yielded naught but a stony disappointment, his patience was steadfast, and thus he was rewarded with this dazzling bounty. We dare say, 'twas well worth the wait!

📜 So raise thy goblets and cheer for Robert, and for the magic that lies hidden in stone—until brave souls dare to crack it open!
