I still need to buff and clean up the leather, but this one was fun. I really wish I was able to acquire more Bezalel Book Art blocks. His speckling is unmatched. I will definitely be working with Hoween Chromexcel again! When the light hits the metallic purple just right, it just shines! I was itching to get back rebinding this weekend. I’ve been crazy busy between work, church, photography, and t-ball.

This was a Bible custom designed by the daughter of a close family friend of ours. They are some of the best people I know and are raising two amazing kids as well. I hope she enjoys digging into God’s Word with this one of a kind Bible.

To those on my waitlist, I apologize for the long wait. Just know there is nowhere I’d rather be than working on Bibles and I’m hoping to get back in a rhythm this week.

I think I may have a new favorite Bible! If I didn’t really love the person who is getting this Bible, I believe I would have to keep it for myself. 🤣 Navy Sokoto goatskin cover with Navy lambskin liner. Copper foil stamping with red page dye. This is an NIV wide margin with 36 GSM paper (thicker). This means almost no ghosting. Perfect for people who live to write in their Bible.
