Alaska Mint A family run coin mint with a collection of pieces from all over Alaska. Est. 1991 My wife Michele and I are the owners and operators of the Alaska Mint.

I was 4 years old when my parents moved our family to Alaska from Colorado. They were young and ambitious, my Dad worked as a roughneck on oil platforms until they had saved up enough money to start a small jewelry shop. In 1967, Robuck & Sons, our families first jewelry business was born. Since then our family has had several stores around Alaska. In 1990 after testing with a sidewalk vendors car

t for a few summers, I opened a location in downtown Anchorage where we could manufacture and sell souvenir coins, natural gold nuggets, and other gifts. At the Alaska Mint, we offer high quality, Alaskan made items at reasonable prices. Stop by our store and watch our artisans at work creating unique items that will be treasured for years to come. The pure silver and gold coins that we design and mint are highly desirable collectors items that our customers have been enjoying for over 30 years. We buy and sell raw gold from the miners all over Alaska, and make some of it into stunning pieces of jewelry. We specialize in vintage estate jewelry from our customers here in Alaska, and we have a great selection of locally made handmade knives, Ulus and Alaska Native crafts.

We have a new knife maker in the shop! We are so excited to be able to carry knives, they are all meticulously crafted right here in Alaska! Using the highest quality steel and some incredible handle materials. From moose antlers to mammoth tooth and meteorite!
