With the year 2026 right around the corner ready to bloom and bring in new love stories yet to tell, the ghost of weddings past whispers deep within and brings me a sense of awe, of what once was a prayer, has now come to fruition.

Every now and then you will stumble upon a wedding that has, what most would consider to be, “magic”. Or you will meet a couple whose covenant they are about to embark upon would be described as “fate”. — Me? I see nothing short of Gods handprint writing and designing. You see His pen in one hand, inscribing His plan and purpose over every couple. You see His paintbrush in the other, painting the intricate details in every floral piece, down to the last petal, that has come together and perfectly reflects them. You will come to know these brides as if you’re the one who will be giving the speech by the end of the night. The brides who will leave their thumbprint on every new mood board you create, reminding you of how you spent months and hours designing theirs and inspiring you for what’s next. The bride whose spirit is kindred. The brides who have stitched a corner of their hearts right on to yours.
And if you’re lucky enough, you can only hope to have left them with something that will last forever, in return — giving thanks with a heart full to the One who gave you this purpose along the way.

That florist who started on nothing but a prayer and a dream planted on her heart would be me, and I have had the honor of playing just a small part in each of these brides’ special day.
Happy New Year to all my Forever Yours brides and grooms!
