Measuring roughly 11" across and 5.5" high with a 108-ounce capacity, it is the largest nesting size in the classic ribbed ringware line, featuring prominent exterior concentric rings and a vibrant glossy jade green glaze. The Northwood amethyst tree trunk vase is a classic piece of antique carnival glass produced by the H.J. Northwood Glass Company between 1909 and 1915. It features an organic tree bark texture with irregularly spaced hobs and a shimmering, iridescent silvery purple finish. Handcrafted by Harry Northwood’s factory in Indiana, Pennsylvania, it is mold-blown then "swung" (swung while hot to stretch the neck into a tall, graceful shape with a ruffled rim).
