Meet Mila! Mila and her dad were at our 1st annual car, boat, and motorcycle event at our marina, Occoquan Harbor. Out of all the shells I had for sale on my table, Mila picked the craggy shell for a gift for her grandma. What a lucky grandma to have this shell and this precious little girl as her granddaughter. Welcome to OHM and C Dock to Mila and her family.

Cool facts about starfish: ⭐️ 🐠
1. Most starfish have five arms, but some species can have up to 40.
2. They lack brains 🧠 and blood, relying instead on a water vascular system that pumps seawater through their body.
3. They have "eyespots" at the tip of each arm to detect light and dark.
4. They are carnivores, feeding on clams, mollusks, and OYSTERS 🦪 by wrapping their arms around them and forcing their stomach out of their mouth to eat. Gross!🤮
5. Starfish move slowly using hydraulic pressure in their tube feet, often appearing to glide across the ocean floor.
6. Depending on the species, starfish can live for up to 35 years.
