The idea in that the breakage does not signify the end of the objects' life, but becomes an important moment in its' history. The cracks and chips are not hidden or obscured – but seen and honoured. Here’s to the ones taking one small step at a time. Perhaps we dont know the destination but moving is friction, friction is heat and heat is life. Here’s to being alive.

Here’s to the unravelling and the breaking to begin the process of mending.

I had been on holiday but back and refreshed, and so have the listings :)) (but for real am i getting older or is jetlag (or even daylight saving for that matter) getting harder to adjust to? These tapered bowls captured my eye in the very beginning of my kintsugi journey, the classic shape and colour of the ceramic glaze was perfect in capturing the colour of the gold repair- then 3 bowls in i realised retaining the tapered shape in repair became my own personal hell - so I'm probably not going to make them again 🥹 only 6... wait i should pull one out to keep... 5 left in Trademe!
