"The silent predator in Africa".
In the sweltering heat of African's land,
There is a killer on silent scream, called malaria.
Transmitted through the bites of infected mosquitoes.
A stealthy foe, in the African night,
Lurks in the shadows, ready to bite.
Taking lives, causing families to shed tears,
Children and mothers, the most vulnerable of all,
Suffering its anger, as the night curtain falls,
From the swamps to the cities, spreading its wings,
Claiming lives, children and adults, no one is spared,
A disease of poverty and neglect,
Malaria's toll, we must never forget.
The mosquito's buzz, a deadly sound,
Carrying parasite, ready to abound.
A continent plagued, by malaria,s syndrome,
Presenting with fever, chills and flu like symptoms,
But hope remains, in treatment and care,
Together we can fight, Together we repair.
National guildline, we must follow,
To combat malaria, and not wallow,
Proper treatment and prevention,
Our weapon in this fight,
To protect the vulnerable, to bring light,
Through nets and medicine, we can make a stand,
And rid south Sudan off, malaria's hand.
This will keep us safe, and healthy.
Health promotion, our responsibility,
Let's educate, let's inform,
Spread the message in uniform,
Of nets and sprays, of draining pools,
Of seeking out, trained healthful tools.
With unity, we can break the chain,
Malaria grip, we restrain
Promoting health, preventing pain,
Let's us rise, for victory we will gain.
