A little over two years ago, in 2023, I embarked on a goal to continue the Adonai Ventures Print fabric business of my late mom. I launched my very first print fabric, the yellow shukublay print, in July 2023, and to date I have launched over 12 new fabric designs. This amazing patchwork dress made with most of our Adonai Ventures Print fabrics celebrates what we have accomplished over the last 2 years. I am truly grateful to God that I am able to continue my mom’s legacy and I thank the many customers who have bought and worn Adonai Ventures Print! Thanks also to Couture by J.A.B
and JF Ɛritej for their collaboration on this beautiful dress!

Celebrating Sierra Leone Print Elegance: A Journey Through Krio Culture and Style

Months of planning, preparation, and hardwork culminated in the first Print Fashion Show at the KDU Global Family Reunion Meet and Greet on Friday, August 29, 2025. The goal of the event was to invite the audience to step into a world where tradition meets modernity. This vibrant event showcased the richness and diversity of the Krio Print heritage through the latest Adonai Ventures Print fabrics in bold patterns, intricate designs, and contemporary interpretations of traditional attire designed by Mrs. Frederica Williams of JF Eritej.

It featured clothing and styles for all ages and genders - each piece telling JF Eritej’s unique story of craftsmanship and culture. This was more than a fashion show—it was a celebration of identity, creativity, and unity of the Krio culture.

Our amazing models were able to stride down the runway to live goombay music from Bonniejazz Entertainment adorned in garments that pay homage to the past while embracing the future. Enjoy these photos and be inspired by the colors, textures, and designs that make Krio fashion a global phenomenon. This required a collective effort from many people so thank you to EVERYONE who played a role in making this event a success - from start to finish!

What an honor and a privilege to design a custom Adonai Ventures print fabric for my grandma Mrs. Naomi Adesimi-John’s centenary celebration! Our green shakpa (sorrel) print was designed in her favorite color green!
