You weren’t built to carry a 24/7 mental open tab.

In a culture that constantly demands high output, optimized routines, and instant solutions, pausing feels almost rebellious. We’ve been conditioned to believe that if we aren’t actively fixing, planning, or hustling, we’re falling behind.

Psalm 46:10 is the ultimate circuit breaker:

“Be still, and know that I am God."

Notice what it doesn't say. It doesn't say "work harder until you figure it out," or "solve it all by tonight." It gives you permission to put down the weight you were never meant to carry alone.
Being still isn't passive or lazy—it's an intentional choice to release control and trust that God is working behind the scenes, even when your hands aren't on the controls.

Your reminder today:

✅ Stepping back to breathe isn't quitting; it's faith.
