I started Strait Lights with an autoimmune condition. So what goes into our candles, and what doesn't, has always been personal.

I wanted the luxury of a beautiful candle without the toxins that so often come with it. No carcinogens, no phthalates, no reproductive toxins, no ingredients on the California Prop 65 list. Plant based wax, lead free wicks, vegan and cruelty free.

Because your home should feel like a sanctuary. Not somewhere that unintentionally harms you.

I've been a font addict forever. I have hundreds and hundreds of them. In fact it got so out of control, I used my pregnancy (some 12 years ago) to make myself a fancy font catalogue just to keep track. So when it came to finding a way to map Singapore's neighbourhoods, typography felt like a solid answer.

Every street on this print is written in its own name. That's it. No illustration, no colour. Just the streets, forming the shape of the place they belong to. It's both minimalist and meaningful.
