Today was a really happy day. I visited Neuschwanstein Castle in 2016 and the bridge to get this iconic shot was under construction. Almost three years later I got to go back and take the picture I always dreamed of taking. Christmas Markets are one of the biggest attractions in Germany during the month of December. Nuremberg is technically the Christmas Market “capital” but there are markets in lots of cities both big and small. The stalls are filled with holiday decorations, toys for children, candies, and tasty German food🥨🌭

We’re back in Europe baby! and I landed in Munich a few days ago (see Instagram stories to see what we have been up to) and have been soaking up every second including (but not limited to) drinking copious amount of hot cocoa, consuming our weight in sausage and potatoes, and stumbling our way through the German language.
