Combining historic military design with modern upgrades, the Hamilton Khaki Field King Day-Date Blue is well respected by many watch collectors and enthusiasts for its excellent specifications, versatility and great value for money. The brushed stainless steel case features a 40mm diameter and a lug to lug distance of 49.7mm; these dimensions give the watch a comfortable fit that will cater to many wrist sizes. In contrast to the brushed finishing on the case, the bezel is done in a high polish finish, exerting a sporty vibe, making this piece fit right in place even in dressier settings—moreover, the Khaki Field King Day-Date Blue has a lug width of 20mm, which allows for a wide combination of straps. Hamilton paired the Khaki Field King Auto with a 20mm sturdy stainless steel sports bracelet with a signed clasp that is suitable for all occasions and conditions.

True to its heritage as a tribute to military-issued watches, the dial of the Khaki Field King Day-Date remains clean and purposeful. It features crisp, white-printed Arabic numerals and an outer minute track that pops against the deep blue sunburst backdrop, striking a balance between utility and a subtle hint of refinement. The syringe-shaped handset makes the dial incredibly easy to read at a glance, ensuring that the watch never loses its field-ready identity. For visibility in the dark, the hands and indices are treated with Super-LumiNova for a bright green glow—a necessary modern upgrade from the radioactive tritium used in the vintage originals.

The newly refreshed Artelier Complication is bound to be a total surprise for collectors, and it’s definitely a piece the next generation will cherish. By keeping all its signature features intact while sharpening the overall aesthetic, Oris has delivered a compelling, taut design tailored beautifully for a new wave of independent thinkers. In fact, even with its dual complications, the layout leans so heavily into a “less-is-more” philosophy that the dial feels almost as clean and effortless as a time-only watch. It marks another exceptionally well-executed release from the brand—a minimalist breath of fresh air that feels right at home on any occasion.

The Pilot’s Navigator CeraShell® Quartz stands out as a formidable tool watch with a distinct personality. This begins with its asymmetrical 41mm case, featuring a 11.5mm thickness and a 48mm lug-to-lug profile. The case is crafted entirely from CeraShell®—Marathon’s proprietary composite that blends bio-sourced material with ceramic powder for an incredibly lightweight yet highly scratch-resistant structure. Further refining the design, this new iteration features a bidirectional aluminum bezel with an increased height, engineered specifically for an easier grip under demanding conditions. Newly enhanced, the bezel pip now incorporates a radially mounted tritium gas tube insert for reliable illumination in total darkness. Finally, the matte, stealthy texture of the case pays direct tribute to the non-reflective, anti-corrosive finishes mandated by original military specifications, ensuring true tactical utility.

Moving to the case profile, The Pilot’s Navigator has from a sleek and a sense of masculine attractiveness to it, to its unique tactical color choice that you do not see much in the market. The case has an asymmetrical shape, where it gives full crown guard architecture, from the lug sides on the right to the matte grey crown. This in which allows one to feel the case has a winder side from the other, which made it pretty darn cool and tactical feel. Now further refined, the case features enhanced lug tapering that dramatically improves ergonomics for all-day comfort. When the watch viewed from the side, it lets off only as a no-frill tool watch, only to be complemented by its short lugs and hour bezel. However, when one views it from the top, it is where it shines with its unique case profile, with the lugs streamline together as a whole with its masculine yet unique side profile. This results in a striking profile, letting the wearer feel substantial with its unique asymmetrical case.

At first glance, the new Artelier appears almost deceptively simple. Its fully polished stainless steel case adopts a smooth, pebble-like form, free from unnecessary flourish yet rich in quiet refinement. The proportions have been considered with equal restraint. Measuring 39.5mm across, 12.5mm in height, and spanning a compact 45.5mm from lug to lug, the watch settles naturally onto the wrist, carrying itself with a presence that feels neither imposing nor insubstantial. A generously domed sapphire crystal rises above the dial, treated with anti-reflective coating to preserve clarity under changing light, while the exhibition caseback offers a discreet window into the movement beneath. Together with a traditional push-pull crown and practical 30 metres of water resistance, the Artelier feels less like a watch reserved for special occasions and more like an elegant companion intended to be worn without ceremony.

https://tinyurl.com/ru6r7s9s

Yet it is the dial where the Artelier reveals its greatest depth. Rendered in a versatile off-white tone, it demonstrates how subtlety often carries more lasting appeal than extravagance. A finely grained central section introduces texture and visual warmth, creating a gentle contrast against the smooth outer perimeter. Within this carefully arranged canvas reside two complications: a moonphase display positioned beneath twelve o’clock and a second time zone indication at six. The newly developed wedge-shaped hour markers serve as an elegant intermediary between the two surfaces, occupying the precise boundary where texture gives way to smoothness. Their placement feels deliberate rather than decorative.

The remaining elements are handled with similar restraint. Slender hands, discreetly treated with lume, sweep across the dial without disturbing its calm composition. The Oris signature sits quietly at three o’clock, while the familiar “SWISS MADE” inscription anchors the lower edge. Nothing feels excessive, and nothing appears omitted. Instead, every component contributes towards a cohesive whole, resulting in a watch whose appeal lies not in commanding attention but in rewarding closer observation over time.

The 2001 Marina Militare stands as a powerful testament to Squale’s pioneering spirit, bridging the gap between a storied past and a modern, professional-grade future. This collaboration isn’t just a nod to history—it’s a living tribute to the brand’s long-standing relationship with the Italian Navy, merging the “space age” soul of the original 2001 with the rigorous standards of elite naval diving. By blending this iconic silhouette with the prestigious Marina Militare identity and high-performance craftsmanship, Squale has created a timepiece that is far more than a reissue.

The Khaki Field Mechanical 36 sets forth as a perfect example of what we just mentioned above. The Khaki Field Mechanical is a tribute to its military pedigree, precisely like their MIL-W-46374 spec watch produced specifically for use by navigators in the U.S. Air Force during the 60s and 70s, while their field watch dates back even earlier during World War 2 in the 1940s. This particular version sets forth where it is designed to be the perfect combination of a vintage piece with modern technology. Measuring wittily at 36mm wide, 46.9mm lug-to-lug and 10.2mm (including crystal) in height, the stainless steel case is done in matte sandblasted tone to mimic the original finishing during the days to minimize reflections coming from polished surfaces. Further, at 36mm, the Khaki Field Mechanical bears 100m water resistant and wears exceptionally well and versatile from most of our wrists, both for men and women.

This version is a real treat for the purists because it leans so heavily into those original military specs. They’ve even brought back the fixed lug bars, meaning you can’t just swap in a standard spring-bar bracelet—this one is strictly for the nylon strap fans, just like the old days. The case is topped with a boxed acrylic crystal that features a hard coating and anti-fingerprint treatment, giving you that warm, vintage look without the constant smudging. Flip it over, and you’ll find a solid screw-in case back engraved with all the essential military specifications. Even the crown feels right; the knurling is deep enough that winding it up every morning feels effortless and tactile. But the coolest “Easter egg” has to be the internal dust cover—a tiny detail hidden inside that’s pulled straight from the 70s navigator’s watches used by soldiers in the field. It’s those little nods to history that make this feel less like a fashion piece and more like a proper piece of kit.
