There is a challenging project that is coming to it’s realization
phase - phantom P48 adapter for Gefell / RFT measuring microphone
MV201!
The biggest challenge was to generate capsule's polarization voltage
of 200V!, yet providing enough voltage for feeding measuring microphone
itself, and buffer its output for matching with the mic preamp's load!
Despite of all the phantom power’s limitations, we made compact and
low-consumption adapter!
Electrical specs are promising too: self noise of the adapter
is 14dBA and maximum level is 144dB SPL (for MK202 capsule).
The adapter will work with MV201 and support big list of capsules:
Gefell MK201, MK202, MK221, MK301, MK102, DPA and other half-inch
measuring capsules.

There is phantom adapter module for Sennheiser MKH 110, MKH 104, MKH 404, MKH 804 microphones. It can be installed inside the microphone or you can make custom adapter. Available at eBay and Reverb

There is our new phantom powered ribbon microphone buffer. It is designed to match high impedance ribbon mic with existing preamps.

We accounted that some ribbon microphones have very high output (source) impedance (up to 2500 Ohm). From other hand, majority of mic preamps are optimized for source impedance 150-300 Ohm. The resulting impedance mismatch increases noise level and lowers microphone sensitivity.

The core of the circuit is low-noise class-A dual complementary feedback pair follower optimized for high impedance sources.

The circuit is tested with vintage russian Oktava ML-51 microphone, which has 2.5kOhm source impedance at the transformer's output. After installing the buffer signal-to-noise ratio improved from 5 to 12 dB (depending on preamp)!
Easy installation - just 5 solder joints. PCB size is 8*14mm. Big thanks to Андрей Лифенко (Andrei Lifenco) Александр Перфильев (Alexander Perfilyev) for testing the product

I had a great opportunity to repair gorgeous EMT140 plate reverb! It had problem with pickup low output (photo 3,4) and leaky snubber capacitors in motor block (photo 5). Otherwise, it’s aligned very well. Thanks to Андрей Лифенко (Andrei Lifenco) !
