Health, beauty and wellbeing were at the forefront in developing the dr.KURESHi brand. ls as a way in life. This was difficult to begin with especially during an economic downturn to help people from all walks of life with all sorts of problems. Some of the defining questions we asked were: what if we could combine our skills and knowledge in producing the finest therapeutic grade oils? Each with our own expertise in the field of science comprising of a medical doctor, herbalist and environmental archaeologist. The medical doctor trained in a reputable university in China on the mechanics of the human body and disease. An herbalist with a strong family background in medicine that goes as far back as the 1800s, also a graduate from LUMS university in business. An environmental archaeologist who specialises in the chemical depositions in soils and plants at the University of Edinburgh as well as case studies as a medical anthropologist on variant cultural healthcare systems. Our aims as a collective were to produce natural oils of purity and strength without the use of adulteration or synthetic compounds. Returning to ancient wisdom for our solutions in health and wellbeing with emphasis on quality rather than quantity in ethically and environmentally sourced plants and harvesting methods. Much like it was thousands of years ago in the traditional markets of the near east where vases of oils and baskets of herbs and spices were specifically grown for medicinal use. From the hanging gardens of Babylon to the agricultural revolution, long before the invention of writing 5000 BC. Herbal medicine and pharmacology was already perfected as a science in the near east.
