Honey does not actually expire. What you’re seeing at the bottom is a natural crystallization process, which is a sign of pure, raw honey. This can happen at any time—even within months or after many years.

Simply place the bottle in warm water or gently heat it, and it will return to its liquid form naturally.

The honey is completely safe and perfectly fine to use 🍯

I’ve just noticed this honey is a month out of date and it’s looking weird at the bottom is it still ok to use? 🤔

Pakistan has achieved an important milestone as the first shipment of Sidr honey from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has now reached Malaysia. This marks a major step forward for the province's honey industry, which has been struggling for growth in recent years. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa produces between 15,000 and 20,000 tonnes of honey every year, but only a small amount is exported. Most of it goes to Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, and Dubai, while the province has long lacked a direct export route to Europe. Much of the honey is even repackaged in Yemen before reaching international markets. Commerce Minister Jam Kamal called this shipment a breakthrough, and experts say that giving the honey sector official industry status, improving processing facilities, and meeting global standards could open even bigger opportunities in the future.

پاکستان نے ایک اہم سنگِ میل عبور کر لیا ہے، کیونکہ خیبر پختونخوا (کے پی) سے سدر شہد کی پہلی کھیپ اب ملائیشیا پہنچ گئی ہے۔ یہ صوبے کی شہد کی صنعت کے لیے ایک بڑا قدم ہے، جو گزشتہ چند سالوں سے ترقی کے لیے جدوجہد کر رہی تھی۔

کے پی ہر سال 15,000 سے 20,000 ٹن تک شہد پیدا کرتا ہے، لیکن اس میں سے بہت کم مقدار برآمد کی جاتی ہے۔ زیادہ تر شہد کویت، سعودی عرب اور دبئی جاتا ہے، جبکہ یورپ کے لیے براہِ راست برآمدی راستہ طویل عرصے سے موجود نہیں ہے۔ زیادہ تر پاکستانی شہد یمن میں دوبارہ پیکنگ کے بعد عالمی مارکیٹس میں پہنچتا ہے۔

وفاقی وزیر تجارت جام کمال نے اس کھیپ کو ’’بریک تھرو‘‘ قرار دیا ہے، جبکہ ماہرین کا کہنا ہے کہ اگر شہد کے شعبے کو باقاعدہ صنعت کا درجہ دیا جائے، پروسیسنگ سہولیات بہتر کی جائیں، اور بین الاقوامی معیار پر پورا اتارا جائے تو مستقبل میں اس کے لیے مزید بڑے مواقع پیدا ہو سکتے ہیں
