Investing is an effective way to have your money work for you and build wealth. Holding cash and bank savings accounts are considered safe strategies, but investing your money allows it to grow in value over time with the benefit of compounding and long-term growth.

Last year, Amazon Customer Engagement made it possible for brands to reach shoppers who opt to “follow” their store or brand. Now, with the Tailored Audiences tool, these sellers can email any customers who have purchased their brand in the past twelve months.


Tailored Audiences was released in September 2022, at Amazon Accelerate. It focuses on email marketing and also features new templates and metrics to engage with customers.


☑𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐨 𝐀𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐈𝐭❓


Amazon Tailored Audiences is only in its beta phase. That means it’s only available for a few brands. But Amazon is expanding this tailored marketing tool for new sellers on a regular basis.


🔸Here’s what you need to enroll:


Send over 10 customer engagement campaigns with more than 1,000 emails.

Maintain an opt-out click rate of under 1% for your last 10 customer engagement campaigns.


When Amazon approves your application, you can access Tailored Audiences via Seller Central. You’ll find it under the Brands tab. Just click the Customer Engagement button and you’re in!

Amazon announced at its annual Accelerate seller conference this year that they are launching Account Health Assurance (AHA), a new benefit for sellers who consistently achieve a high Account Health Rating (AHR). With Account Health Assurance, Amazon will no longer deactivate your selling account as long as you work with them to resolve any issues.

☑𝐄𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐂𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐚❓

🔸AHA is available to professional sellers in the USA and Canada who maintain an AHR score of 250 or more for at least 6 months with no more than 10 days below 250.

🔸If you qualify for AHA You will be notified of your enrollment via email, and you can see your enrollment status on your account health page.

🔸You also need to provide an emergency contact number and ensure that your emergency contact number is always accurate and up to date.

Regardless of your AHA eligibility status, Amazon may remove you from the AHA program and deactivate your seller account immediately if they believe you have engaged in fraudulent, deceptive, illegal, or otherwise, harmful activity, in order to protect customers, our selling partners, and Amazon’s store.

Updates to the U.S. referral and Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) fees that will take effect on January 17, 2023, except where otherwise noted:


🔸Referral fees will remain unchanged

🔸Fuel & Inflation Surcharge will not be charged separately, Amazon will adjust the FBA fee rates to account for these increased costs.

🔸Amazon will make updates and create additional granularity in FBA fees to better align fees with underlying costs.

🔸Amazon will increase FBA outbound fee rates by $0.22, Quarter and Half Pound weight Tiers will be introduced to better align fees with shipping costs.

🔸For Apparel products, Amazon will use the greater of unit weight or dimensional weight to determine the shipping weight for all large standard-size products. This change will take effect on February 16, 2023.

🔸In the Apparel and Shoes, categories return processing fee rates will be reduced by an average of $0.20 per return.

🔸Increase in off-peak storage fee (January to September) $0.04 and $0.03 per cubic foot for standard-size and oversized products respectively.

🔸Increase in Peak storage fees (October to December) for the non-sortable network by $0.20 per cubic foot, while those for our sortable network will remain unchanged.

🔸Introduction of storage utilization surcharge for inventory stored to weekly sales. This change will take effect on April 1, 2023.

🔸Increase removal and disposal fees, Liquidation fees will remain unchanged.

🔸U.S. FBA New Selection program will be lowered.

🔸Reduce fees for the Small and Light Program and increasing the item price for eligible products from $10 or less to $12 or less.
