ARC BOOK REVIEW
The Divorce by

I’m so happy and grateful that I got an early copy of The Divorce by Freida McFadden, especially since this is one of the most anticipated book releases of 2026 🫶🏽
The Divorce follows Naomi, a woman whose seemingly perfect marriage falls apart when her husband suddenly leaves her for a younger woman. While trying to cope with the betrayal and the life she lost, Naomi becomes increasingly fixated on her husband’s new girlfriend. What starts as curiosity slowly turns into obsession as she uncovers disturbing secrets that put her own life at risk.
I was completely hooked from the start and fully invested in everything that was happening. The story kept me constantly questioning everyone and everything, and I felt so many emotions while reading. I was frustrated, confused, irritated, and so curious to see how everything would turn out. It explores how far someone is willing to go to hold on to the life they thought they had. The characters were absolutely unhinged. I wasn’t totally shocked by the twist, but I still didn’t fully see it coming. I do wish the ending had been a little more conclusive, but overall, I still really loved it and had such a fun time reading it.
It’s addictive, unhinged, and fast-paced from beginning to end. Definitely recommending this one.
