🔥 DESIGN A BIC LIGHTER

DESIGN THEME FOR MAY 2026: MOTHER’S DAY

We will set a different design theme per month.

Best design for the month will win of PHP 10,000

📌 CONTEST MECHANICS

1. Eligibility

• The contest is open to all Filipino citizens residing in the Philippines. 🇵🇭
• Participants of all ages may join.
• Minors (below 18 years old) must have their parent or legal guardian submit the entry on their behalf.
• Employees of BIC Philippines, partner agencies, and their immediate family members are not eligible to join.

🎨 2. Design Guidelines

Participants must customize an actual genuine BIC lighter using their own creative design.

The lighter will serve as the canvas for their artwork.

Participants may use any creative technique, including:

• Acrylic paint
• Paint markers
• Permanent markers
• Printed sticker wraps
• Hand-drawn illustrations
• Decorative elements (beads, gems, small accents)
• Mixed media techniques

However:

• The base lighter must be an authentic BIC lighter, any variant.

• Designs must be original and created by the participant.

• Entries must not contain offensive, illegal, or copyrighted material.

🎥 3. How to Join

Participants must:

Step 1

Customize their own BIC lighter design based on the monthly theme.

Step 2

Document the process by:

• Recording a short video of the design process, and
• Taking clear photos of the final lighter design.

Step 3

Post the content on ANY or ALL of the following platforms:
• Facebook
• Instagram
• TikTok

Step 4

Include the official hashtag:




Participants must:

• Tag
• Include the monthly theme in the caption.

The BIC Lighters account will repost chosen entries with the proper tag and hashtag.

🗓 4. Monthly Themes (2026)

Each month will feature a different creative theme:

For the month of May the design theme is: Mother's Day (A design to pay homage to all mothers)

🏆 5. Prizes

• One (1) winner will be selected each month.

Each monthly winner will receive:
💰 ₱10,000 Cash Prize

⭐ Grand Recognition

All monthly winners of 2026 will receive a special honor:

🔥 Their winning lighter designs will have a chance to be produced and printed on actual BIC lighters in the following year.

These winning designs may become part of a special BIC limited edition collection.

🔁 6. Number of Entries

• Participants may submit multiple entries.
• Each entry must feature a different customized BIC lighter design.

Entries will be evaluated based on:

Creativity & Originality = 25%
Design Ex*****on = 25%
Relevance to Monthly Theme = 25%
Social Media Impact (Likes & Shares) = 25%
TOTAL: 100%

⚠️ 8. Important Rules

• Participants must use genuine BIC lighters only, any variant will do.
• BIC reserves the right to disqualify entries that violate the rules.
• By joining the contest, participants grant BIC the right to feature their designs in marketing materials.
• BIC may reproduce winning designs on future products with proper credit to the creator.
