Our first violin donor 🙏 🎻

Today, one of our dear Villagers made a beautiful, emotional decision, to let go of a violin she has played for 10 years… so that someone else can begin their journey.

That instrument, once hers, will now be placed in the hands of a future musician from Summerstrings 2026, a student who may have never had the chance to own one.

And as promised, she also received her ₱2,000 voucher, which she used toward her new Concerto Strad violin from Violin Village.

But more than the discount… what she gained is something far greater:

We’re launching a Violin Donation Drive under our Strings that Serve advocacy, and this is your chance to help fulfill someone’s dream of learning the violin.

If you have an old student violin (any brand, 4/4 size only) that you no longer use, you can donate it to a deserving student of Summerstrings 2026 who cannot yet afford their own instrument.

And as our way of saying thank you:

💛 Receive a ₱2,000 discount voucher
• Valid for any violin worth ₱10,000 and above
• This voucher entitles you to a ₱2,000 discount on the violin’s regular price
• This cannot be used in conjunction with any promo or sale price
• One voicher per item only
• Usable until December 31, 2026

📌 Donation Guidelines:
• Accepting student violins, 4/4 size only
• Must be in playable condition
• Needs to have case and bow

On this Philippine Day of Valor, we remember the bravery of our heroes who stood their ground during the dark days of the Battle of Bataan, men and women who chose sacrifice over surrender, honor over fear.

In this image, the violin rests on the ground…
Because there are moments in history when even music pauses,
so freedom can be fought for.

their sacrifice gave birth to the freedom we now live in.

This summer could change more than just your playlist. 🎻✨

Enroll in Summerstrings 2026, our month-long intensive violin training, and earn the opportunity to become a Violin Scholar for one whole year.

Here’s how it works:

From April 20 to May 15, students aged 12-20 in Bacolod City will undergo:

🎻 20 intensive sessions
🎻 2 hours per day
🎻 Weekdays only (Monday-Friday, afternoons)
🎻 For total beginners
🎻 Students must have their own violins

At the end of the program, students will take a proficiency exam and perform in a recital on May 22 as a string ensemble.

Those who successfully pass the course and meet the standards will qualify to become Violin Scholars for one year.

What does the scholarship include?

✨ Free violin lessons for one year
✨ Once a week class
✨ 2 hours per session
✨ Continuous training in a structured group setting
✨ Chance to be a member of a string ensemble

The scholarship is performance-based and subject to monthly assessment to ensure growth, discipline, and musical excellence.

And remember, this is music with purpose.

In collaboration with Ikthus Bacolod, where the training will be held, and Christian Academy of Bacolod, 💛 100% of Summerstrings registration proceeds go directly to the Christian Academy of Bacolod Building Fund for its proposed new site and school building.

our Villagers offered their violins as an act of worship.

Today we remember the Love that chose nails. The Grace that embraced suffering. The King who was laid in the dust so we could rise in hope.
