Studies show sugar is more addictive than any drug. Dare I say it IS a drug.

We are in a time when people quit addiction like alcohol and drugs, there's a great round if applause and major support always. People tip toe around then making sure to not lead them into temptation. Which is very good!

But mention that you had a sugar addiction, and therefore are staying away from carbs, and people lose their minds! They claim you can't live without carbs. They say 'Oh this one time won't hurt."

But it will. Abstinence is absolutely necessary to conquer addiction.

Be a good support and don't offer carby stuff to someone who is addicted. It's not a diet for them but a new lifestyle bringing them to health and freedom!
