THANK YOU SO MUCH to everyone who liked, shared, and donated to our initiative “Saan aabot ang 50 pesos mo?" A drive focused on helping the communities which were affected by typhoon . Together, we were able to raise a total of P93,684.68 pesos in just 1 day. This just proves that there is unity in times of crisis. The said amount has been donated to our partner organizations FOR THE FUTURE and WAVES FOR WATER PHILIPPINES. Both organizations with great advocacies and will do everything they can to help our affected countrymen.
Moving forward, we have partnered up with another organization that is based in the province of Cagayan Valley. All succeeding donations received will go to these three organizations:
CAVOLUN INITIATIVE is a non-profit organization established by the youth of Cagayan. They have been working tirelessly in bringing relief goods containing basic necessities to the affected families of Magat Dam incident which has opened up seven gates because of the uncontrollable water level caused by the typhoon .
FOR THE FUTURE PH is an organization established by a team of Filipinos who believe that anyone can help make a difference. The organization first started with the goal of reforestation but later on holistically helps communities who are the most vulnerable in the time of need. The organization aims to not just raise awareness about the events happening in our country but also make helping, for people like you and me, accessible and easy. They are currently providing immediate and longterm aid for devastated communities.
WAVES FOR WATER PHILIPPINES is an international organization which believes that clean water should be easily accessible for anyone and everyone. With this goal, they have provided clean and safe water in 48 countries all over the world. In line with their goal, they also have natural disasters relief programs that help countries who are affected by major disasters.
