One of the highlights for me during this recent Go Conference was the testimony of Pastor Moss and Ms. Sandra.
In 2024, during our church's annual planning, they went through a heartbreak no parent should ever have to face. Sandra was already 5 months pregnant when they lost their baby. And as if that pain was not enough, they later found out that Sandra had Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis, Vitamin D deficiency, Antiphospholipid Syndrome (APS), and alloimmunity. Humanly speaking, the possibility of another pregnancy seemed almost impossible.
In the middle of pain, they still answered the call to GO. In the middle of grief, they still chose to serve. In the middle of disappointment, they still said yes to Jesus. That alone was already a testimony. Then yesterday, during a break in the conference, they went out for Sandra’s regular check-up. And there, in the middle of this conference about answering God’s call, came a beautiful miracle: Her doctor happily announced that Sandra is now pregnant. I. could not help but be moved.
God truly sees.
God truly remembers.
God truly strengthens those who keep saying yes to Him.
Their story brought this verse so strongly to my heart:
“Those who go out weeping, carrying seed to sow, will return with songs of joy, carrying sheaves with them.” — Psalm 126:6
Moss and Sandra kept going even as they wept.
They kept sowing even while hurting.
And now we are seeing a fresh glimpse of God’s faithfulness.
We rejoice with Moss and Sandra. We honor their faith.
And we continue to pray for a safe, healthy, and miracle-filled pregnancy.
