A wealthy man walked into a bar in Vegas.
As he entered, he noticed an Asian man seated quietly in the corner. He approached the counter, pulled out his wallet, and loudly announced, "Bartender! A round of drinks for everyone here—except that man in the corner!"
The bartender took the money and served drinks to all the patrons, except for the man who was singled out.
To everyone's surprise, the man smiled calmly and said, “Thank you.”
The man, clearly irritated, tried again. He shouted, "This time, bring out your best bottles of wine and food—on me—for everyone here except that man!"
Once again, the staff served everyone except him. And again, he simply smiled and said, “Thank you.”
Now visibly angry, the man turned to the bartender and asked, “What’s wrong with him? I’ve done everything to insult him, and all he does is thank me. Is he out of his mind?”
The bartender smiled and replied, “Not at all. he's the owner of this bar.”
Moral of the story:
Sometimes, those who intend to bring us down end up lifting us up without even realizing it. May every plan against you turn out in your favor. Amen.
